Vacation Bonaire - March 2011

Well.. it looks like the blog is going ot be a Vacation Bonaire blog. hehehe
Anyways, we went to Bonaire with our best friends Steve and Donna, just like last year, and had a blast!
So on the pictures below:
At the airport... Steve, Donna and Hans.. starting wityh breakfast before our flight from Orlando to Aruba. Ater that one more flight to Bonaire...

The drink of choice: mostly ice cold Amstel Bright...

 To celebrate mom's birthday we had dinner at the Bistro, with Ans and Henk (below with Christa), long time friends of mom and dads. So all 8 of us: Hans, Chris, Steve, Donna, Mom, Dad, Ans and Henk...

 Eden Beach. A great place now that it has been sold to a new owner.

 Below: Hans at Donkey Beach.. the best place to snorkel. "Shall I go snorkeling now or later..?"

 Sorobon at Lac Bai. Gorgeous colors, shallow water, sandy beach, lousy snorkeling (if you don't go to the reef or the mangrove), but a great place to relax and swim.



Update december 2010 - Christmas

For Christmas and New Years we went to Bonaire. It was a bit of a hassle to get there, but once we did, it was great.
My mom and dad are there, so it was nice to be with family.

December 2010 update - DC

We also took a plane to DC to visit Leora. It was good to see her again!

We stayed in a crazy good hotel downtown, went to a lot of restaurants and drove around Washington DC, and really enjoyed the weekend together!

Update december 2010 - Bro and partner

Also in December, my brother and Marjan finally came for a visit. That was great fun too! We had such a good time visiting parks, enjoying the pool and just enjoying eachothers company!

Well, it has been a while since I updated this blog. Sorry about that!

Let's see.... first my parents came to visit and our friends Steve and Donna had rented a huge limo to take us all to dinner in Tampa! That was great fun!
